When I first met Lisa and James and Lisa told me she planned on designing her own wedding gown, I knew their celebration was going to be a very special and elegant affair. They have also chosen a fantastic place to host it. Located in the West Village of Manhattan, Ramscale Studio loft offered everything – unique multi-leveled space, urban, chic and inviting atmosphere and, of course, the incredible view. After meeting at Washington Square for the first look, the bride and groom grabbed a quick ride in the vintage NYC taxi around the neighborhood before heading up to their ceremony. The local gem – Entwine Bar – was right around the corner and so seductively cozy, it was very hard to not loose all sense of time. When we arrived at Ramscale, the talented super team of Rachel Cho Floral Design has already filled the space with the most lovely flower creations. The ceremony took place on the deck, before sunset, in the perfectly breezy end-of-the-summer weather with the buzzing city stretched out below. And then the party really got going with some exceptional dancing. It felt effortless, organic and was so much fun – I can hardly call this work!
